Wow! So, I am so excited to put two and two together and find some of my favorite animators on youtube! Woo hoo! (much thanks to klip for her part in my epiphany!) NFduC info: Key Filmmakers I always wanted to see Bead Game by Ishu Patel and now I have and you can too! Bead Game Caroline Leaf is one of my favsThe Street (1976) Norman McLaren: an amazing experimenter: Pen Point Percussion Pas De Deux And one of my favorites from Frédéric Back: (the quality on youtube is bad you should rent it!) The Man Who Planted Trees Pinscreen animation by Jacques Drouin: Mindscape Len Lye: Colour Box I can't find, "Shorelines", by Al Jarnow yet.... I loved that film. There are some whose names I can't remember right now... One guy whose first name I think is Paul and he did an animation of a greyhound running. And a woman who did an amazing drawing on film animation re: celtic mythology. I think she was from portland. And then there is pencil booklings... Whew more later!
