Which is best? a brand with few colours or with 4 or more?

Well, i chose this topic because old-school designers prefer brands with a max of 3 colours, rarely 4 and the reason was for economize printing costs and making easy for various material applications. However, nowadays many brands incorporate much more colours and gradients, of course those fit well in multimedia and social networks.

So, what do you think about it, which is best, and why?

Fewer ... Tiffany, Barbie, Nickelodeon ...
The color is identified with the brand.

Because colour is associated with brand but you still want to be exciting!

I think it's depending on what it's for like a date or maybe going to church not so much but for maybe lets say a party or something like that it ok..
also what it generally for!!!

it also depends on what colors red green blue purple would not go together for example does any of my words help??
